529 offers for 525 students at IIM-Bangalore, most offers from consultancy

All 525 eligible students of IIM-Bangalore’s together with PGP and PGP BA programmes have been recruited for summer time placements by over 130 corporations which made 529 offers. The summer time placement was carried out on-line as a result of pandemic. Roles provided included PE/VC, business analytics, consulting, finance, common administration, IT/product administration, operations, gross sales and advertising.

A complete of 144 offers have been made in consulting, and 71 offers made within the area of finance, banking and investments. A complete of 95 offers have been made in advertising and gross sales offers. As many as 81 management tracks or common administration observe offers have been made by Indian business conglomerates. In addition, there have been 93 offers within the broad area of Information Technology (IT), and 27 offers have been made within the operations sector, the IIM-B mentioned in an official assertion.

“Traditional recruiters have supported us by bringing in new roles across divisions. New recruiters have come in. Other than the domain of consulting, students have also received a large number of offers for S&M (95), general management (81) and finance (71),” mentioned Anushree Jibhakate, scholar placement consultant, IIM-Bangalore.

The first batch of students of the PGP-BA programme at IIM-B has additionally acquired offers in all of the domains. Professor U Dinesh Kumar, the chairperson of MBA in business analytics, mentioned that the response from outstanding corporations is a present of religion within the analytics programme provided by IIM-B.
