A Suitable Boy Trailer: Tabu and Ishaan Khatter’s chemistry stands out in this Mira Nair series

In Mira Nair's A Suitable Boy, Ishaan Khatter plays Maan Kapoor, the rebellious son of politician Mahesh Kapoor (played by Ram Kapoor), who develops an attraction to the beautiful courtesan Saaeda Bai (rehearsed by Tabu).

The highly anticipated trailer for A Suitable Boy is out now. The Mira Nair show, adapted from Vikram Seth’s novel of the same name, features Ishaan as Maan Kapoor, the rebel son of politician Mahesh Kapoor (played by Ram Kapoor). Maan develops an attraction for the beautiful courtesan Saaeda Bai (rehearsed by Tabu). “A first sneak peak into the world of #ASuitableBoy @bbc: Love will push you beyond your boundaries. Expressing his enthusiasm for the project, Ishaan said: “‘A suitable child’ has been an enriching experience and I am very excited for people to see it. Maan is one of the most interesting characters I have read and portrayed on him. The screen It has been a delight. ”

In a previous interview with IANS, Ishaan Khatter said that it was easy to romance Tabu in the movie: “Because that person is Tabu, he really does half the work for you. The script for the film was written by Andrew Davies. The film will be a BBC-backed series that will have six one-hour episodes starring actors like Rasika Dugal, Vivaan Shah, Tanya Maniktala and Shefali Shah, among others in crucial roles.
