Hinduja Group flagship Ashok Leyland on Tuesday stated its customers have been capable of scale back the overall price by 15 per cent by utilising the company’s digital initiatives.
The industrial car maker’s digital integration throughout its business started in 2017, with the launch of a digital market which included a bunch of options like iALERT, Service Mandi, Leykart and eDiagnostics.
The company has added different digital options like iALERT 3.0- a complicated related car platform, uptime resolution centre and AL Care- a one-stop app for customers to handle customers’ car wants.
These transformational initiatives have elevated the proliferation of related digital options in direction of the whole price of possession (TCO) discount, the company stated.

“As a leading player in the commercial vehicle space, our focus has always been to deliver the lowest total cost of operation (TCO) and thereby the highest profit to our customers. Our Digital Nxt Solutions consisting of iALERT 3.0, Uptime Solution Center & AL Care, helps us to deliver on this promise,” Ashok Leyland Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Vipin Sondhi stated in an announcement.
The company’s customers utilizing these digital platforms have achieved vital price financial savings, and on common, the industrial car maker facilitated 15 per cent overall financial savings, which incorporates 5-10 per cent of gasoline financial savings and 15 per cent enchancment in fleet utilisation, he added.

The company’s related digital platforms monitor greater than 40 million km of car run and 1 million hours of engine operating day by day, he added.
