Tata’s new sedan will be based on the Altroz platform. At present, no picture has been revealed of this car. But according to the report it has been given the code name X452. Let me tell you, during the production of Ultraz it was named X451. That is, it would not be wrong to say that this new car is being manufactured on the ALFA platform just like the Altrose.
The company has not yet made any official announcement regarding this car, but it is expected that it can be named Peregrin. Talking about the design of Tata’s upcoming premium sedan, it will be built on Tata’s 2.0 design language. However, its styling is expected to be inspired by the Altrose and E-Vision sedan concept. Let us tell you, the e-vision was the concept of an electric sedan from Tata, which was introduced at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
In the base variant of the new sedan, the company can use the 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, while its top variant is expected to have the option of a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol unit similar to the Nexon. At the same time, a 1.5-liter diesel engine can also be given in its diesel variant. There is no firm information about its launch yet. But it is expected that it can be launched in 2021. Let us know, apart from this new sedan, Tata Motors is also planning to launch HBX Micro SUV in India soon.
