The government has launched the Arogya Setu App, which assesses the risk of infection with the corona virus. Nita Verma, director general of the National Infommatics Center, told a press conference here Thursday that the app will help the government take timely steps to assess the risk of the spread of Kovid-19 infection and ensure reconnaissance if necessary. It is available in 11 languages ​​and is ready for use from day one nationally and has a design that can carry more load.

He explained that the design of the app ensures privacy first. Personal data collected by the app is encrypted using state-of-the-art technology and the data remains secure on the phone until medical facilities are required.
This app, named ‘Arogyasetu’, developed in a public-private partnership with the aim of uniting people to combat Kovid-19, is connected to Digital India for the health and well-being of every Indian. This will enable people to assess the risk of catching corona virus infection. It will calculate it based on their interactions with others, using state-of-the-art Bluetooth technology, techniques, systems of rules to solve mathematics questions (algorithms) and artificial intelligence. It is a link between the public and private sectors, digital technology and health services at the same time and the capacity of young India and the country’s disease-free and healthy future.
