1.25 lakh school teachers to be recruited after Bihar panchayat polls: Minister | Education

The Bihar authorities will full all formalities for the recruitment of 1.25 lakh teachers for main and secondary authorities faculties throughout the state after the continued panchayat elections, the meeting was knowledgeable on Thursday.

The final of the 11-phase panchayat polls will be held on December 12.

“Immediately after completion of panchayat polls in the state, the (education) department will complete formalities for hiring 1.25 lakh school teachers. Around 40,000 teachers have already been appointed by the department,” Education Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary stated within the meeting.

Now, there is not going to be any scarcity of teachers in authorities faculties within the state, he stated whereas concluding the dialogue on the demand for grant of 7,744 crore to the training division for the present fiscal.

The precedence of the federal government is opening one senior secondary school in every panchayat within the state, the minister stated.

The meeting handed the demand for the grant amid a walkout by the opposition members to protest in opposition to the Bihar authorities’s “silence” over the Niti Aayog’s report declaring the state as one of many poorest.

Earlier, whereas taking part within the dialogue, RJD MLA Lalit Kumar Yadav stated, “The latest report of Niti Aayog has uncovered the failure of the Nitish Kumar authorities with information and proof.”

The report has put Bihar at the bottom in education, health and development indices, he said.

“There is not any want to approve the demand for grant to the training division. The minister should give his reply on the findings of the Niti Aayog,” Yadav stated.

Another RJD MLA Bhudeo Choudhary questioned Why the federal government is silent over the Niti Aayog report.

According to NITI Aayog’s nationwide multidimensional poverty index baseline report, Bihar has been ranked poorly in majority of indices -education, diet, school attendance, electrical energy, housing, financial institution accounts, sanitation and ingesting water, he stated.
