Hyderabad: Telugu actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna has donated Rs 1.25 crore for the fight against the ongoing coronavirus epidemic. He donated Rs 50 lakh each to the CM Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Rs 25 lakh for the ‘Corona Crisis Charity’ welfare of the Telugu film cine staff, which was started by Chiranjeevi.
In a video released by his team, he praised all front-line warriors – police, doctors, health workers and governments – for winning against the epidemic. He also requested his fans to take precautionary measures.
Colleague and friend Chiranjeevi took to her social media to express her appreciation.

You proved that every time a generous heart goes out to the needy.” A few days ago he tweeted “Rs. . Chiranjeevi wrote, “#CoronaCrisisCharity Heartfelt has so far appealed everyone to come forward for contribution.”
Chiranjeevi recently joined hands with Akkineni Nagarjuna, Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej to record a special song to create awareness about the CO -ID-19 epidemic. The song highlights the need to fight the virus while at home.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Balakrishna signed on to star in director Boyapati Srinu’s film, which is expected to star Shreya and Nayantara.
