Official data shows that the COVID-19 rally in Ghaziabad on Saturday peaked at 4,541 with positive tests for infection of 101 more people, while 85 new patients pushed coronovirus cases.
According to data released by the UP Health Department for a 24-hour period, since Friday, 96 patients were discharged after treatment in Ghaziabad, while the number in Gautam Budh Nagar was 81.
The number of active cases in Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddhist cities were 913 and 897 respectively, the figures show.
So far, 3,700 people have been discharged after treatment for COVID-19 in Gautam Buddha Nagar, while Ghaziabad figures at 3,564, the figures show.
