Hollywood star Naya Rivera missing and ‘presumed dead’ after son found alone on rented boat in middle of a lake
Naya Rivera rented a boat for an excursion with her four-year-old son. Three hours later, passengers on another boat discovered that their son was alone. The boy told investigators that he went swimming with his mother, but she never returned to the boat.

Glee actor Naya Rivera reportedly went missing after a swimming accident at Lake Piru in Ventura County, California, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department tweet read: “Look for possible drowning victims in Lake Piru.” This was soon followed by another tweet that read: “The missing person in Piru Lake has been identified as Naya Rivera, 33, of Los Angeles. The SAR operation will continue at first light.”

Authorities have been searching for Naya Rivera with the help of helicopters and divers.
According to CBS Los Angeles, Rivera rented a boat for an excursion with his four-year-old son. Three hours later, passengers on another boat discovered that their son was alone. The boy told investigators that he went swimming with his mother, but she never returned to the boat.
On Tuesday, Naya Rivera had posted a photo of her and her son on social media. The legend said: “just the two of us.”

Naya Rivera’s main role was on the television show Glee, where she played Santana López. She was also a cast member on the Devious Maids show.
