Mayor of Katihar, Bihar, was shot dead on Thursday night. Forty-year-old Shivraj Paswan was returning house after holding a meeting when the incident befell. Paswan had an actual property business.

The incident befell inside hours of the killing of legal Guddu Miya who was additionally engaged in actual property business in neighbouring Purnia.

Reports mentioned Paswan was on his approach house on his bike when three armed males stopped him close to Santoshi Chowk and shot at him earlier than fleeing the scene.

He was rushed to Katihar Medical College and Hospital (KMCH) the place a crew of docs declared him dead. Locals mentioned that the criminals fled after the incident by firing a number of rounds.

Police didn’t rule out Paswan’s nature of business for his killing. They are trying on the CCTV footage of the world. “We hope to case soon,” a senior police officer mentioned.

Hundreds of individuals gathered at KMCH and heavy police reinforcements have been deployed to manage the group. Roads have been sealed and in depth checking of autos began.

In Purnia, Guddu Miya was shot dead at a crowded chowk in Madhubani locality below Madhubani police outpost earlier in the night. Miya had a number of legal circumstances pending towards him.
