Haryana: JJP leader’s son, 3 others booked for threatening villagers in Yamunanagar | Gurgaon News

YAMUNANAGAR: The police on Tuesday booked son of Jannayak Janata Party’s (JJP) district president Arjun Singh and former BSP’s MLA for allegedly declaring gun at an individual in Damopura village of Yamunanagar district.
As per the knowledge, on Monday evening, the residents of Damopura village gathered and stopped overloaded mining autos from passing via the principle street in their village as on account of vibration their homes have developed cracks and the motion had been inflicting them a number of inconveniences.
On the grievance of Balram Singh of Damopura village, the police booked 4 accused recognized as Bhupinder Singh son of JJP’s chief Arjun Singh who had change into Chhachhrauli (now title of constituency is Jagadhri) MLA on BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party) ticket in 2005 and Anil, Sachin and Ram, all three brothers and residents of Buria village of Yamunanagar district.
A case has been registered in opposition to them beneath Section 34 (frequent intention), 323 (voluntarily inflicting harm), 506 (punishment for prison intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 25-54-59 (punishment for sure offences and renewal of licensed) of the Arms Act at Buria police station on Tuesday.
In his police grievance, Balram said, “A large number of overloaded mining vehicles loaded with core-sand and gravel from the mining quarry of Mandauli village passed through the main road of our village on daily basis. For the past about one year, our villagers met royalty contractor of mining quarry at Mandauli village several times and urged him to change the route of overloaded vehicles from our village road to someplace else as the walls of houses have developed cracks due to heavy vehicle movement. Our houses may collapse in the future which can cause us life and property loss but the contractor did not pay any heed and ignored our problems.”
Balram alleged that the villagers met the contractor on Monday in the day and instructed him to cease the motion of overloaded autos via the village and the identical won’t be allowed.
“Villagers gathered on the main road on Monday night to stop the movement. At about 10.30 pm, Bhupinder Singh along with Sachin, Anil, and Ram Kumar reached our village and all of them were armed. Bhupinder pointed out a gun on Rinku of the village while threatening him that how can he stop the movement of vehicles carrying mining material in the village. Other villagers gathered in large number at the spot and police also reached there. Bhupinder along with his accomplices left from there in his car”, additional alleged the grievance.
As per the knowledge, the household of Arjun Singh has a screening plant of sand and gravel in the realm.

Yamunanagar superintendent of police (SP) Kamaldeep Goyal stated, “Action will be taken as per law and a case has been registered in the matter.”
