Farmers blocked the Delhi-Chandigarh and Delhi-Amritsar railway routes at Haryana’s Karnal on Monday in response to a country-wide rail roko (blockade) name to protest in opposition to the violence in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur-Kheri that left eight lifeless. Samyukta Kisan Morcha, a coalition of farm unions spearheading the protracted agitation in opposition to the three farm legal guidelines handed final year, has referred to as for the rail roko marketing campaign demanding Teni’s resignation. It stated the blockade will proceed till 4 pm.
