Normal life was affected in a number of districts of Odisha on Monday following a 10-hour countrywide shutdown known as by Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), a united entrance of farmer outfits that has been demanding repeal of the three farm legal guidelines enacted by Centre a year in the past. The authorities had already closed all academic establishments in the state on Monday over cyclone Gulab’s influence in southern Odisha. Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) buses is not going to ply until 3 pm in the present day in view of the shutdown.

Special secretary of dwelling division, Santosh Bala had suggested secretaries of all departments to ask all state staff working on the Lok Seva Bhawan, Kharavela Bhawan, Rajiv Bhawan and the heads of departments to succeed in office a minimum of by 9.30 am on Monday.
