Haryana Staff Selection Commission to issue fresh advt for recruitment of constables

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will issue a fresh commercial for the recruitment of police constables after it withdrew the earlier one, with the federal government claiming that the transfer is geared toward giving a possibility to the candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) to apply for these vacancies.

The HSSC has withdrawn the commercial launched in August 2019 for the recruitment of 5,000 male and 1,000 feminine constables, an official spokesperson stated right here on Tuesday.

Responding to queries and apprehensions raised on social media platforms on the explanations for the withdrawal of the commercial, the spokesperson, in a press release right here, stated a fresh commercial will likely be introduced out by the fee inside a day.

Now, purposes will likely be invited for the recruitment of 5,500 male and 1,100 feminine constables within the police division, he added.

“In addition, an advertisement for the recruitment of 698 women constables for Haryana’s first women battalion — the Durga-One Battalion — will also be brought out,” he stated.

The spokesperson stated the rationale for the withdrawal of the sooner commercial “is to give an opportunity to the candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) to apply for these vacancies”.
