Recruitment NCERT 2020: The National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT), a lead organization for educational research, teacher training, and development of curricula and instructional materials in school education, has reported 266 openings. The Council will fill the positions of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Librarian, and Assistant Librarian through this recruitment. The recruitment (registration) process has already started on the official website since June 29. Applications can be submitted online through the NCERT website at www.ncert.nic.in until August 3.
These positions are transferable between the Council’s constituent units located in Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysore, and Shillong and New Delhi, according to the NCERT recruitment notification.
NCERT recruitment 2020: Pay scales
Professor or librarian:
Academic level 14 with streamlined entrance fee of Rs. 1.44,200 / – (Pre-revised salary scale: Rs. 37,400-67,000 with AGP-10,000)
Academic level 13A with streamlined entrance fee of Rs. 1,31,400 / – (Payment scale previously revised: Rs. 37,400-67,000 with AGP-9,000)
Assistant Professor or Assistant Librarian:
Academic level 10 with streamlined entry salary of Rs.57,700 / – (Previously revised salary scale: Rs.15,600-39,100 with AGP-6,000)
NCERT recruitment 2020: How to apply
Eligible and interested candidates should apply online only via the NCERT website (www.ncert.nic.in).
No other means or method of submitting applications will be accepted.
Before applying for the position, candidates must have a valid email ID and a mobile phone number through which the candidate will register on the online application portal.
Candidates are required to visit the NCERT website www.ncert.nic.in where full announcements, details on eligibility criteria, selection procedure, application fee, online registration and general conditions are available.

Applicants must pay a fee of Rs 1000 through the online payment mode. No other form of payment will be accepted.
No application fee for SC, ST, PWD and female candidates.
“Applications without the prescribed fee will not be considered or summarily rejected. The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances nor can it be held in reserve for any other exam or selection,” said the NCERT recruitment notice.
