Nora Fatehi: There were a lot of financial issues in my family

The gorgeous Nora Fatehi recently appeared on the starry nights of Komal Nahata’s show, where she made some interesting revelations about herself and her family. Nora told how she started working at the age of 16 and there was a time when her family was struggling with an economic crisis.

“My first job was as a retail sales associate in a mall right next to my high school so I would finish my job and go there. I was 16 years old. I had to work for many reasons. There were many Financial issues in my family and I should have been the one who would go ahead and be the bread giver.

From working at a clothing store to becoming a waitress to selling lottery tickets, Nora has done it all. “I was working in a men’s clothing store, so I was selling suits, along with outfits and all that. After that, I did a lot of work. I worked as a waitress in restaurants, bars and Shorma locations . I worked in a telemarketing office. Calling cold people and selling lottery tickets. ‘Hi, Madam, do you want to buy this ticket?’ And 90 percent of the time, they were like that (mimicking the sound of a phone hanging). I worked on commission, I worked at McDonald’s once. I did everything, “she said.

In 2015, when Nora made her entry as a wild card in a popular reality show, she made headlines. She became a household name after showing her killer dance moves in Satyamev Jayate’s blockbuster chartbuster Dilbar. Our jaw dropped while looking at Saki Saki, Garmi.

Nora has played supporting roles in films like Bharata and Batla House. She was last seen on the big screen in Remo D’Souza’s Street Dancer 3D alongside Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, she is going to woo her fans with her interesting role in the mega film Bhuj: The Pride of India.
