New Delhi: Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday stated after abrogation of Article 370, terror associated activities have declined in Jammu and Kashmir, and an environment for investment has been created.

Replying to a dialogue on Budget for Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the minister stated individuals are benefiting after implementation of 890 central legal guidelines. Also, individuals, who didn’t have any rights there earlier, can now get authorities jobs, and buy properties.

Besides, she added, 250 “unjust and discriminatory” state legal guidelines too have been eliminated, and 137 had been modified.
