US firm PDI opens second centre in India

PDI (Professional Datasolutions) Inc., ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), a US-based global provider of fuel pricing and supply chain logistics solutions for the retail and petroleum wholesale industries, opened its second location in India, Hyderabad office after Chennai is.

The firm has hired 40 people for its Hyderabad operations. Currently they are all working remotely.

“PDI continues to support a remote work ethic for its employees worldwide. An executive of the company said in a statement on Friday that all the employees in Hyderabad were hired and onboard from afar.

With the inclusion of the Hyderabad office, PDI now has around 200 employees in the country.

The new office can accommodate about 70 employees.

Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary (IT), Telangana Government, inaugurated the facility through video conference.

Jayesh Ranjan said that the company plans to bring the Hyderabad team to 100 people in a year.
